October 29–30, 2025
Format: Virtual (Day 1) & In-Person at BUEI (Day 2)
Following the success of the Walk and Fair, BMHF hosted its annual conference — Balancing Life & Mind — bringing together mental health professionals, advocates, and community members for two days of education and empowerment.
The virtual sessions on October 29 sparked meaningful conversations on mental health trends, lived experiences, and solutions tailored to Bermuda’s evolving needs, featuring 10 speakers across 9 insightful topics. The in-person event on October 30, held at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI) and hosted by Patrina O’Connor, brought together 25 speakers who explored 16 dynamic topics.
The sessions were described by attendees as inspiring, impressive, and deeply educational. From clinical perspectives to community-based strategies, the conference delivered actionable insights and fostered collaboration across sectors. Special recognition goes to Michael Davis, AV Technician, for his exceptional technical support in ensuring a seamless experience.
Together, both events represented the Foundation’s ongoing mission to promote awareness, understanding, and action around mental wellness. The engagement, energy, and unity shown by participants underscored Bermuda’s growing commitment to addressing mental health with compassion and courage.
BMHF extends sincere gratitude to all sponsors, partners, vendors, volunteers, and participants who made these initiatives possible. Through collaboration and care, we continue to take steps toward a balanced mind and a better Bermuda.
